MOM'S HEART PROCEDURE

Just a quick update on Mom, heart procedure went well yesterday they were able to insert a stent in her heart and she tolerated the procedure very well. She spent the night in the hospital and we will bring her home today. Thank you for all of your prayers. She is one amazing women.

AIR SHOW AND FRIENDS

Sunday April 20th we joined our friends Gary & Mary Buckingham at the Air Show in Peoria. We went through some of the big planes they transport troops and vehicles in. Gary being a military man was nice to have around to explain things to us. It was pretty cool. And the Blue Angels are awesome. How they maneuver those planes is incredible. As you can see the weather was great and so were the drinks and snacks.

Today April 21st is my Mom's birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! Here is to many, many more. Keep her in your prayers on Wednesday April 23rd as she is having a heart procedure done. Thanks!

THE OLE GAL HAS ANOTHER BIRTHDAY ~ A GOOD TIME HAD BY ALL

Oh my baby sister just keeps getting deeper and deeper into those 50's. Jim had a party for Debbie's birthday Sat. April 12th (her birthday is the 13th) and everyone had a good time. Lots of food and drink!!! Even grandma stayed up until 2:00 am.

The Shays + One

SPRING CAN'T GET HERE SOON ENOUGH!!!

Please warm weather get here soon, I can't take anymore of these cold rainy days. Now that I am done complaining I'll move on.

Not much going on here at the Shay household since basketball season is over. The Lady VOLS won the National title so that was pretty cool. Zach of course is getting ready for his spring game (at least it is warm weather in Mississippi). By the way I love spelling Mississippi. Jason and Jana just got back from the Final Four so that was cool. And Beau & Jen are coming home this weekend so I can't wait to see them. Life is good right now, everyone is content

Debbie and I have to take our Mom to St. Francis on April 23rd for a procedure on her heart so please keep her in your prayers. She doesn't feel bad but they feel they need to open the main artery to her heart up more. She had a stent put in it about 5 yrs. ago so hopefully that will go well.

I am in to watching my Cubs, I know sad but true. I'm a diehard, blame my Mom she got me hooked a long time ago.
