A FUN, FUN WEEKEND

Didn't get any pix for this post but had to share the news of our fun weekend. We were invited to a cookout at John's boss' in Colona Friday afternoon. Carol, Craig's wife did a fabulous job on the food oh and Craig you did a great job with the food on the grill. They had bought everyone tix to the the QC Bandits baseball game. The evening was beautiful with a nice breeze off the river. We had our own area with more food that the ballpark cooked for us right there (dogs and burgers with potato salad and all the trimmings and soda and beer as well.) The game was good and afterwards there was a fantastic fireworks display. The Balsar's had also paid for everyone a room at the Isle Capri Hotel and Casino so after the game it was off to gamble.

On Sat. morning Shaybo and I were off to Des Moines. I had bought tix for the matinee of Jersey Boys back in April. OMG what an incredible play!! It was so much fun. So energized and electrifying music. It was a very fun weekend!
