END OF SUMMER VACATION

Jason, Jana and the kids went to Fripp Island in South Carolina with some friends right before Peija started school. They loved it. Here are some pictures they shared.

GET READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!

Football season is just hours away. I can't wait for it to begin. I love all of the pageantry of college football. GOOD LUCK TO THE ALCORN STATE BRAVES!!!!!!!! Hope they have a good season, they are very young so who knows. But I do know the defensive coordinator will give it all he's got. Of course we will be following the Braves, the Hawkeyes and the VOLS. Let's kick it off fellas!!!

BLOGGER SLACKER

Sorry for the lack of posts recently. Life has been sort of nuts. We have been trying to get Grandma Shay's house cleaned out, painted and ready for the market.

Jen was home for a month and we had so much fun. Bless her heart she asked me to tag along for the picking of the wedding dress (amazing) and the flowers and centerpieces. It was so much fun. I can't wait for people to see her in her dress, she is just beautiful. It helps to be tall and very, very thin.

Saturday night (8/8) we went to Bettendorf for dinner at our friends the Petersons. Delicious as always and the conversation is always enlightening and fun. Thank you.

This coming Friday we are off to Davenport to meet up with Jen's mom and a friend for a taste testing of the entrees that will be avail for choosing for the reception. It is nice the Radisson does this for the upcoming brides.

Now I am just getting ready for school to begin at the college. The start of a fresh school year is always exciting.
