OH MY GOODNESS ARE WE EVER BLESSED!!!

Jen and Beau are going to be parents come May 2012!!!!  We are soooooooooooooo excited and blessed.  Jen is feeling good and they heard the heartbeat for the first time on Halloween!!  It is going to be an exciting time in the Shay household.

Also, we will be spending Thanksgiving with Jason's family in Florida.  We are looking forward to seeing them all.  We miss them terribly!

VISITING ZACH IN COLORADO

We travelled to Greeley Colorado for Zach's opening football game over Labor Day Weekend.  Unfortunately the Bears came up 2 points short, but the visit was wonderful.  On Friday while Zach was at work John and I drove to Estes Park. It was so much fun to go back to our stompin grounds where we honeymooned and later on took our boys when they were young.  We met a lot of Zach's new friends UNC's football boosters. He is so happy out there and we can certainly see why.

AN EVENING WITH JOHN'S COWORKERS

This weekend we travelled to Dubuque, IA to have dinner and a fun evening at the casino and hotel Platinum Services owns (company John works for).  We had dinner at Champagnes in the Casino and it was ..            d e l i s h!!!  When we got to the hotel the wives were given a card with $100 bill in it to spend anyway we chose.  Dinner was paid for and our hotel room was paid for.  We went to the dog races and then on to the casino.  Of course I made my donation but had a fabulous time.  Thanks Keith and Platinum.

69er's 60th BIRTHDAY BASH VIVA LAS VEGAS STYLE

The weekend of July 22-25 11 classmates and their significant others travelled to Vegas to celebrate our 60th birthdays.  It was a fantastic time.  We formed a special bond that weekend that we will carry on forever.  We had the most fabulous dinner Sat. evening at Morel's Steakhouse at the Palazzo Hotel.  We had our own room that overlooked Trump Tower.  The food was awesome the waitstaff was incredible but the friendship was heartwarming.  We saw Cirque da Solei Beatles show that was out of this world and the Jubilee burlesque show that was eye-opening.  LOL  Thank you 69er's for a weekend that was over the top and met more dreams than could ever have been imagined.  To us!!!!
