ARE YOU KIDDING ME A SHAY MOVING CLOSE TO HOME?

Yep, it is true Beau and Jen will be moving to the Quad Cities the end of June.  Beau took a position with ORA of the Quad Cities.  Orthopedic Rheumetology Associates is a very reputable practice in Bettendorf and Moline.   They have 21 orthopedic surgeons, Beau will be the first podiatrist that they have hired.  He is very excited about his contract and the possibilities.  And needless to say Jen is really going home!!!  John and I won't know how to act with a son and daughter-in-law being so close, we are very, very excited!!!!  CONGRATS TO BEAU AND JEN!!!

YET ANOTHER FEBRUARY BIRTHDAY

Today marks the 38th birthday of our oldest son, Jason Eric!!! You are truly a blessing and a son we are very proud of. You set the bar very high for your brothers which was a good thing because they have met your standards as well. Enjoy your day son and we love you very much!!!

MA & PA SHAY TURN THE BIG 60

It was a week of birthdays at the Shay household.  I turned 60 on Feb. 5th and John turned the BIG 6 0 on Feb. 11th.  Thanks to family and friends the excruciating event was most enjoyable. LOL  Seriously we are just thankful to the Lord above we are still on this earth and are health problem free.  So we are looking forward to this next decade and all of it's possibilities.  HERE'S TO 60!!!
