CONFUSED @#%&*

As you can see I can't make up my mind which background I like for this blog. There are so many to choose from, I just can't figure out which one I like best. I guess I'll go with this one for awhile. Please bear with me. Thanks for reading.

WINTER, WINTER GO AWAY!!!!!

OK enough is enough, this has been the longest winter that I can remember and it is only the end of January. I am so tired of having these endless days with no sun. And this snow, it just keeps on coming, however, I guess I would rather have snow than that awful 3 letter word I C E!!! Please give us a break, some sunny days with temps in at least the 30-40 range. I can't help myself I had to sound off to somebody, and since this is my blog I guess I can do just that!

VOLS IN ALABAMA

The VOLS are in Alabama this evening. It should be an eventful one. Since they just reinstated 2 of the 4 players who got themselves into some big time trouble. I am quite sure the crowd will have a few choice words for them and some signs since it will be on ESPN!! GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!

WEDDING DRESS

OK, I have officially bought my dress for Beau & Jen's wedding. One more thing to cross off my list. The months are counting down very quickly. It will be here before we know it. Can't wait!!! :D

THE SHOT HEARD ALL AROUND TENNESSEE & KANSAS

The Tennessee VOLS basketball program has gone through some very trying times recently with the arrest of four of their players. This affects everyone in the program who has worked so hard to have a successful year, from players, coaches, managers, trainers and grad assistants. However, this group of people has forged forward to create a new identity for themselves and they have done it in a huge way. The first game after the incident, they played a very good Charlotte team that had beat Louisville earlier in the season by 22, we beat Charlotte by 17. However, their biggest challenge was looming next with #1 Kansas coming to town. Well, all the VOLS were ready for the challenge. This was Jay's scout and I have a lot of confidence in his ability to get them ready but could they execute? Well execute they did!!!! There were big plays throughout the game but the biggest one came with .32 seconds on the clock and 3 seconds on the shot clock. We were up by 3 and walk-on Skylar McBee hit a shot of a lifetime. Off balance he threw up a 3 pointer with one second left and baby it was nothing but NET!!! The VOLS went on the win by 8 knocking off #1. SWEET!!!!!!

Pictures courtesey of the Knoxville News Sentinel and the University of Tennessee. Thank you.
